Cancelling out older customers and not giving a **bleep** about them!

I don’t understand or appreciate GMAC and ONSTAR cancelling the Onstar program for the older users.  Our car is a 2016 Enclave with low miles we are retired so we don’t use many miles and don’t need to purchase a new vehicle just so we can have Onstar!  When we bought our vehicle we did withe the specific reason we were provided with onsar to be safe have hands free calling and navigation and we were loyal customers now we have been thrown to the wolves by all of you and we certainly would never buy your products again!  Yes, we’re aware we can use our phone with the privilege of paying you in case of accident, but for Gods sake if we have an accident our phone will probably go flying in the car and we wouldn’t be able to use it anyway or we could be unconscious!  And yet you don’t care enough to have figured out a way to keep us all connected!  Thanks for nothing, we should get some type of compensation for buying into this in the first place and v=being thrown out into the cold !  Maybe a Class Action Lawsuit sounds good on the horizon!

The OnStar Guardian app brings Mobile Crash Response to any vehicle you or your loved ones are in. The Guardian app is designed to use your smartphone’s sensors to detect when the user is in a moving vehicle or motorcycle, and determine a change in acceleration when a crash occurs. This feature will automatically activate if phone sensors detect movement over 25 mph for more than 10 seconds and will deactivate if no movement or walking detected for 5 minutes. The phone's sensors can detect a crash and alert an Emergency-Certified Advisor. The Advisor will call your phone and contact first responders and provide them with your location. For Android users, the app can automatically connect — even if you can’t reach your phone.
