Vehicle status in myBuick app not updated for 4 weeks

My vehicle status in the Buick app hasn’t updated for 4 weeks. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. I made sure my phone iOS is up to date. Restarted the phone. Nothing has helped. Remote commands from app still work.

Why mark as solution when there is not a solution! I have the same problem.

I performed all these steps and the app has still not refreshed and is still showing the data from 4 weeks ago. I don’t get an error message of any kind.

  • Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Tammy. Are you receiving any error codes when attempting to view your Vehicle Status? If the mobile app is up-to-date on your device, we do recommend completing a Power Cycle. This should assist in updating your vehicle insight and ensuring any diagnostics are accurate. Please see the below steps:

    1. Turn ignition on for at least 2 minutes
    2. Turn ignition off and wait 2-5 minutes (so data can be collected)
    3. Log out of the myBuick app and log back in - this may help the app refresh
    4. If the concern is still not resolved, please wait 2-3 minutes and refresh the app again, as the status can take a few minutes to update
    5. Drive the vehicle around for a few minutes to allow data to refresh on the app

If you are still having concerns after completing these steps, let us know.
