Onstar stopped working

I'm writing to report an issue with my OnStar service in my 2022 GMC Yukon SLE. When my vehicle was parked, I attempted to locate it using the OnStar app, but the service wasn't working. Upon starting the engine, I noticed the OnStar green light was not illuminated inside the vehicle.

When I contacted OnStar support, they suggested it might be a hardware issue. However, I've noticed this problem seems to be widespread. I kindly request that you investigate this matter further to resolve the issue.

    I can not make call from inside of vehicle non of the button working not SOS button nor Onstar calling button 

    i spoke with advisor through my cell phone but they could not figure out what is the problem seems like lot of people have same problem at same time

      Helen, seriously?  Did you not read the above?  That is the same thing the OnStar advisor asked me when I called in on a landline.  Duh! No, there is no green light for OnStar on for most if not all of these people!  Go to management and decide what your company statement is going to be on this. You obviously have a major problem and all these people keep going answering questions that you already know the answer to.  I have the same problem, already dealt with Onstar and put my service on hold and got a credit.  At this point there is no point to troubleshoot as it is a known and long running issue!

  • Just happened to me (11 days ago) No On-star services from vehicle, No speed limit indicator on dash. On-star button does not have the normal green light on next to it. Tech support went through the whole relearn and Ping my location setup. No Luck... Must be a hardware issue  and with my plan ending in October of 2025 , This should be covered through On-Star and GM partnership.

        Blue button not active as I mentioned in my comment, No light next to the button. I had to call a phone number to reach OnStar support. I have an appointment to take the vehicle in on 4/01/25 for diagnosis, at which point I am expecting I will be in the same issue as thousands of people are now with a backorder for the module  to repair the issue
