MyGMC app not updating mileage, fuel etc
Update to the status update issue. Status is now updating when I drive the truck. It is no longer going back to what it was 10 days ago. After speaking with the rep who contacted me I've been informed that there has been a change to the app and you cannot get an update without starting the vehicle. In other words if you check the status of your tire pressure in the app 12 hours after you last drove the vehicle it will tell you what it was the then not what it is now. I thought in the past the app would give you a real time status update but maybe I didn't remember correctly. I will say Onstar has been responsive to my issues.
Does anyone know if this issue of not updating fuel, tire pressure or oil life has been corrected? My 2025 GMC Canyon has a similar issue. My commands to unlock doors etc. works but my vehicle status keeps reverting back to 10 days ago. What makes it even stranger is sometimes if you refresh the app it will show current status and say connected 10 minutes ago but as you are looking at it it goes changes back to status from days ago and says last update 10 days ago. I have spoken with 3 different Onstar trouble shooters and while I'm talking with them it will do the same thing. Show correct status then revert back to status from 10 days ago. The last tech said she would bump it up the ladder and someone would reach out to me. All techs I've spoken with have been very nice but the problem is frustrating. Never had this problem with 2 previous GM vehicles.

We are having the exact same issue with our vehicles. My guess is that a bug was introduced in one of the recent app updates.

That's interesting because I did get a notice to install an update which I did. Don't know if that created the problem because I've only had the truck since November 28th and didn't really use the app until recently. It did work on the dealership lot so maybe it could be the update. Wish I had used more before the update to see if it was working then. Sure hope they figure this out.

I hope they release a fix soon. I’ve had my 25 Silverado since May and haven’t had this issue until about 10-11 days ago. My wife’s 26 Traverse is doing the same thing since about 10-11 days ago as well. Never had the issue before with either so that’s why my gut was leaning toward an app issue.
