myGMC App - š”
Same problem / issues that alot of other people have reported for several years - the only thing active within the myGMC app is - OnStar pop-up trying to make sure Iām aware of options to subscribe to their service.
CLUE ONStar - why would anyone pay for additional services, when the services that have already been purchased DO NOT WORK ?
$80k 2025 2500 HD - owned less than 2 months - canāt remote lock/ unlock, or start, or even get updated status on mileage, air pressure, ā¦.truck has less than 500 milesā¦.but more than the app shows

Iām in the same boat called today and got everything setup. The lady on the phone said it should be fully operational within 5-10 minutes itās been hours and nothing work. No Wifi. The Chevy App still wants me to subscribe to OnStar which already did. Really frustrating

To clarify, have you made sure to link your Chevrolet Account with your OnStar account? This is a crucial step for integrating your Connected Services into your app. Be advised, if you are the Owner Proxy or Driver on the account, you must consult with the Owner to authorize this change. If you are the OnStar account Owner, please follow the steps below to link your accounts.
1. Log into your Chevrolet Account via http://Chevrolet.com or http://experience.GM.com
2. Once logged in, click on "Plans & Servicesā from the navigation bar
3. Enter either your OnStar account number or your username (email address associated to your OnStar account)
4. Choose your method of verification (email or text message)
5. Select "Send code"
6. Check either your email address or phone to locate the verification code
7. Once found, enter the verification code into the Chevrolet Account Website
8. Click "Link account" to finish.Once you have successfully linked your accounts, please log out and then back into your app with your Chevrolet Account credentials. Should you find that these options are not visible to you on the Chevrolet Account site, it's likely that you've already linked your accounts. If these steps do not resolve your concern, please let us know. We are here to help to the best of our abilities.

We do appreciate your outreach to our team here. To further clarify, are you currently seeing any error codes within the mobile app? With this, an active and applicable OnStar service plan is required to utilize connected vehicle functionality within the mobile app. You can view available plans by visiting https://www.onstar.com/pricing and you can view your enrollments by visiting your GMC Account. We will keep an eye out for your reply in the meantime.

No errors and no updated status on the truck.
I appreciate you providing a link to more services for purchase - the truck came with 8 yrs included- š¤·doesnāt work, why pay for more ?

Advisor Helen - the responses to remedy the issue are all the same to everyone - and doesnāt appear to be resolving the problem for anyone. My vehicle and account were set up at the dealership before I drove it off the lot. Everything worked fine UNTIL - the ātrialā period expired - (8) years of service were part of the truck purchase- when the short trial period ended everything went to hell - as indicated before, the ONLY thing that seems to be active are āReview Service Packagesā for purchase to extend ā¦.did I mention the truck purchase included 8 years ? I havenāt gotten 8 weeks

Advisor Jack - this is a JOKE - 5th or 6th message being sent, and absolutely no help. What can be expected other than more of the same.
$85k GMC Sierra 2500 HD - has upfitter switch panel - guess what, they arenāt wired - I took off a couple of dash panels, thinking I could fish the wiring harness found in a large bag in the back seat - absolutely not possible without disassembling the dash and console - ya think GMC didnāt plan ahead on that for more income thru the service department. They should have installed the harness instead of charging for the lousy 8 years of NOT working Onstar Service . Absolutely ridiculous ā¦.most likely my last GM purchase

I just purchased this 2022 Acadia on Friday. I signed up for the OnStar connect plan for 14.99 a month. It is showing on my account when I login online but not registering in the app to use the remote start features via the app. When trying to use the remote start features I get the following messages. Time is running out your on star trial will expire soon. get two more months on us when you select a plan now This makes no sense why it is saying this when I did sign up for your basic plan. Error Unable to update. Refresh or try again later. Visit the help center for more support. Remote Start Error Unable to start your vehicle please try again later. I have already tried deleting the app, restarting my phone and redownloading the app after 2 to 3 minutes, several times. I have also cleared my phones history and website data. I have new newest version of the GMC app 7.6.0. No idea what to do from here to get this resolved
