Climate control from app
I have a 2025 GMC 1500 Sierra Denial Ultimate and I not sure why I can not control climate controls from my app, I have installed the app updated the app signed back in and still no climate controls on the phone , I have read on here that it was taking off when Google was put in the software but I also read on here that GM fixed that and now it works but I cannot see it on my app so not sure what Im not doing right or what's happening and suggestions?

Has there been a solution found for this? Cause I've also tried all the basic "fixes" it used to work absolutely fine and now its gone and i haven't changed any settings or nothing
Edit as seen in other forum posts it seems they have turned this feature off in the latest update... really dumb on their part was the best feature of the app whats the point of the app now when i can just use my fob to remote start.... turn climate control back on....
I feel the exact same way. If they don’t resolve the issue, I won’t be needing OnStar!
I have the same issue with my 2024 Sierra 1500 Denali. I was able to remote start the car from the app and adjust the temperature about a week ago. Now the remote start is still working, but I no longer have the option to set the temperature in the app. Please help.

This is what we’re told every time we bring this issue up and the “Solution “ never works.

I too am experiencing the same exact issue and it’s becoming a bit more frustrating waiting for a specialist from OnStar to contact me for more troubleshooting. I have a sierra denali in which climate control on remote app was working fine until about a week ago. I too have been instructed to uninstall/ reinstall the app from my phone 4 times, update phone, and even a power cycle procedure that an OnStar tech had me to perform and still no success. Have you had any progress with the matter?

Just letting you know that you can only use the climate controls after you start the car remotely using the app. In newly updated app Its looks like the picture. Hope this works.
