24 Tahoe Premier Emergency automatic braking doesn't work
I only purchased my 24 Tahoe Premier vehicle 3 months ago and I actually am loathing this vehicle, which is sad for it's price and lack of features. It has been in the shop for 4 weeks of the 3 months I have owned it due to the problems, the must notable of which is the lack of the emergency automatic braking activation when needed. It will alert but will not brake, despite several alerts and close calls. I have zero faith in the "advanced safety features" of this vehicle and really regret buying it. The braking feature works with adaptive cruise control so the brakes work, but it will not brake in an emergency. I am getting ready to write a legal letter to GM due to this safety concern and if I get into an accident due it it failing to brake, after trying to get it fixed twice, I'm going to sue GM.
As much as I'd love to get rid of this vehicle, I'm stuck with it. My 2019 suburban had more safety features than this new expensive useless vehicle, and I wish I could give it back and have my faithful Suburban back.
I have be there loyal GM owner of 3 vehicles but there will not be a 4th.
