My Cadillac App Vehicle Status Not Updating

I have a 2023 Cadillac Escalade.  My Cadillac App in not updating the status of my vehicle and has been out of sync for months. The last status update was at 10, 326 miles and I currently have over 13,000 miles on the vehicle.  I have reinstalled the app several times. The mileage, gas, oil, tire pressure all not updating.

I have been experiencing the same issue with my Lyriq for the past month or so. Randomly it will connect and update. Just never when I need. As an EV I want to be able to condition my car in advance of getting in it, especially now that the temperatures are dropping. This app is useless!

You can add me to this growing list across both Chevrolet and Cadillac. Very frustrated that I can not find a solution to this very common onstar problem.

I have an update for my issue. I was contacted by support, they wanted me to provide some additional information; what version of the app, what type of phone and software version on it. Which I provided, but have not heard back from the support team since (and that about a month ago), but the connecting and updating of the fuel level and oil life did start working again last week. Fingers crossed that it stays working.

  • We appreciate you letting us know the troubleshooting steps you have already taken for your Vehicle Status. To clarify, have you attempted to complete a Power Cycle? This may assist you in updating your vehicle insights and ensuring any diagnostics are accurate. Please see the steps below for further information:

    1. Turn ignition on for at least 2 minutes

    2. Turn ignition off and wait 2-5 minutes (so data can be collected)

    3. Log out of the myChevrolet app and log back in - this may help the app refresh

    4. If the concern is still not resolved, please wait 2-3 minutes and refresh the app again, as the status can take a few minutes to update

    5. Drive the vehicle around for a few minutes to allow data to refresh on the app

Feel free to let us know if you continue to have trouble with the mobile app.

I am also experiencing this issue, for the past two weeks.

Performed the steps listed in one of the posts here, but it did not work, so I sent an email to the email listed in another post in this thread.

It doesn't seem to be an issue with the app; I have the app on my iPhone as well and same thing.
Everything else works fine; I can start it, lock/unlock the doors, even see the location on the map in the app. It's just not updating the fuel information or oil life information at all.

  • Same here.I just picked new 2025 escalade.I can remote control and it's updating how many miles I have driven so far.It just not updating fuel level percentage and it stopped when I was driving back from the dealer.I did everything but still not update.
