MyGMC App will not connect Android phone unable to complete authorization
I cannot log in to the MyGMC app on my Android phone. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall and that has not fixed the issue. I can enter email and password. I get the email notification with the second security access code, and I enter the code. After that I get a message that says "Unable to complete authorization as there is no interactive call in progress. This can be due to closing the app while authorization was in process" I did not close the app, I did not leave the app, I did not tough the phone after entering the authorization code and the message above is still happening and it will not connect and it will not complete the authorization.13KViews3likes29CommentsMyCadillac - Charge Status
MyCadillac Lyriqs charge status will not show in the app. I have full access to all of the other functions such as remote start, temperature control and can view tire pressure. However, the main thing i need for an electric car, is to see my Charge Status. I’ve gone through several tiers of MyAp support, however, Tier 3 has never contacted me and I’ve taken it to the dealer with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? I called OnStar support today 3/9/2025 and they seemed confused regarding this trailer light testing feature. I have a 2024 Sierra 1500 and my vehicle status has not changed since OnStar had to refresh my wifi signal in my truck 7 days ago. I don't know if there are any similarities but the vehicle stopped updating after the refresh. I have already done the power cycle of the truck (run for 2 minutes...off for at least 2 min...sign out of the MyGMC app and back in...have also uninstalled and reinstalled several times). I have a 2015 Volt and myChevrolet app no longer shows EV detail on the app. This includes charging status, range, charging options, etc. Also, the "vehicle status" detail that is shown is from 16 months ago (Dec 2023). All of this functionality worked fine a few days ago. I have reinstalled the app. Reset my phone. Made sure app was up to date. Made sure my phone software was up to date. I have not once ever been able to get MyChevrolet app to work. It always does the same thing. Sad too because it's 2023 and most other places have these kinds of things working smoothly since the late 2000s. Hello, I recently purchased a 2022 GMC Sierra with the new infotainment system. In 3 short weeks my truck ate throw 3GB, I called ONSTAR for support and they blamed me. Apparently, my phone used all my data. The first girl said they have tools to figure out what used the data from the truck but I needed to call tech support. A few days later I call tech support to be told they don’t have tools to diagnose where the data was used and it was all my phone. 3GB gone and not a single app used on the truck. Then, I try to set up myGMC to my app to use the remote start. It tells me that my truck is not connected to ONSTAR services and to press the blue button, so I did. Just to be told the truck is activated and there shouldn’t be an issue. Over an hour on the phone and logged into the website numerous times, through every single page and nothing. The GMC website literally says my truck is NOT connected to ONSTAR services and there’s no place to link my account. When I try to activate ONSTAR on the website it says there’s an error and to call. How am I supposed to use the remote services when the my.gmc.ca says my truck doesn’t have ONSTAR activated, but ONSTAR is saying it is activated!??
